For however long I have stayed away from Xanga, almost the exact opposite amount of events of my life have happened. It's sick really, CCNY, though it is getting more interesting, and it is pushing me, hasn't had any memorable moments. Sure some events took place between the posts, but honestly, I only need my two hands to count them.
Street Fighter: After getting my laptop fixed, I spent a lot of time playing Street Fighter on my laptop over the internet. I thought that, despite the lag, I would get better at the game and I could win the most recent local tournament at PAS SpringFest (Polytechnic), but of course I got ousted right quick in the 1st round. Of course I can blame a lot of things, honestly, it was because the lag made my muscle memory change. I couldn't time anything right and everything just went wrong. The game no longer felt correct in my hands.
So now that I achieved this grand failure, I decided to take a break from fighting games in general to focus on other things. So far, other things range from reading newspapers to playing Tetris.
Speaking of other ventures, I spent a lot of time in the last two months playing the three Metal Gear Solid Games. While I'm no expert on how to beat the games, or on how to beat people the "special" way, I've got to say, the three games' quality are very much beyond my expectations. Though I had been spoiled about the game many many times, and though I knew a lot of what would happen, the games were still superb. I like Snake Eater the most though, if only because it didn't try to make your brain explode ever. The story to it was straightforward, yet well worth it, especially after playing the first two. Though it was a prequel, it didn't really clarify anything about the other games at all. I don't mind though, the experience was worth it. the Camouflage gimmick, the new CQC system, and the new camera system made the game so much better than the first two game play wise, and the story of how Big Boss came to be helped out in this regard. The best part is, my sister watched the game as I played it all the way through, so she is as mind blown from MGS2 as I am. Of course she's in love with Snake's (both of them -_-;;) character and she keeps making me play the damn games =D. What's great is that she helped me out a lot in MGS3 by pointing things out that I didn't see. Honestly though, I hate Hideo Kojima for making me want to buy a PS3. Bastard.
Regardless, I've only been playing those two series, so maybe playing Okami will put my mind back in its place (because I don't like thinking only outside the box for too long, it gets annoying).
Anything non game related? I have a girlfriend, we're going out, end of story. Aside from what I've mentioned above nothing has happened. Not even a callous from playing Third Strike or Guilty Gear for too long =/.
Now, on to my newspaper...

You know, too bad Xanga doesn't have a Facebook widget, I'm pretty sure some your curious buddies would wander over here to [CENSORED] you.
Either a) you spam your xanga address to everybody, b) put it on the sig of your emails, c) put it in the profiles online that you feel you can link here, and d) when I think of something I'll kick it over.
aww, you're is growing up
You know, I have you on my spambar (feedbar). Hurry up and post something.
And yes, I know Japanese spoken in anime is booze. Still, I wanna know what "solar energy system" is in goddamn kanji. And recognize it in conversation, for the matter.
The more I hear without reading the translation, the better I get. Supposedly. And I really don't want to listen to that lady on my instruction discs saying stuff so slowly I might as well fall asleep.
